From the very first training session my U-14 boys had with JSA training, I knew that this was the perfect fit. Our trainer, Steve Ward, has such great insight as to the needs of the team as well as the individual player. In just a few short weeks, he has made tremendous improvements in the boys’ technical and tactical skills. Each time the boys step onto the field you can see their confidence levels grow, individually and as a team. Coach Ward is able to keep the right balance between having fun and learning all the facets of the game enabling them to continue to advance their game. I have coached soccer for many years and have worked with many trainers, and I can honestly say that with JSA, Coach Ward has elicited the best results in the shortest amount of time from my players. Jersey Soccer Academy and Coach Stephen Ward took a bunch of U-12 boys and turned them into a team. They started the season off running around the field without understanding their positions, kicking the ball without knowing what they were doing. In 10 short weeks, the boys were confident in playing their positions. They passed the ball with purpose. Stephen built a rapport with the team, working to understand what made each boy tick. They all improved their skills – individually and as a team. I cannot wait until next season to start up. I very highly recommend Jersey Soccer Academy and Coach Ward for any team looking to make the next step up.
